ANIMALS AND METHODS

Materials: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were used. A homogenizer (XHF-1) was obtained from Shanghai Xinhua Electronic Instrument Factory (Shangai, People’s Republic of China). A Himac centrifuge (Hitachi SCR 20BA, Tokyo, Japan) and UV/Vis spectrometer (Perkin-Elmer, Norwalk, Connecticut, Lambda2) were used. All chemicals were of analytical grade and were purchased from standard commercial sources.
